We develop plant-based bio-leather from banana stems in collaboration with a local community in Cilacap, Central Java. Through our own material research and development using a glycerin-based matrix, we are creating a more environmentally conscious alternative to conventional animal and synthetic leather.
We also turn banana stems into recycled paper for handmade products such as our banana-stem pens. Every piece turns agricultural waste into a functional, value-added material while creating opportunities for local communities.
